Perform the below steps using the user account\u00a0 <strong>LyncAdmin<\/strong>.<br \/>\nRun the <strong>Setup.exe<\/strong> from the <strong>Lync Server 2013 installation DVD<\/strong>. It should be run once per user domain or server domain.<\/p>\n<p>Run the<strong> Prepare Current domain<\/strong> and click finish to close the wizard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6 \u2013 Verify Replication in the Domain<\/strong>: To verify the replication in the domain, click <strong>start<\/strong>, open <strong>Lync Server Management Shell<\/strong><br \/>\nType the command : <strong>Get-CsAdDomain [-Domain &lt;Fqdn&gt;] [-DomainController &lt;Fqdn&gt;] [-GlobalCatalog &lt;Fqdn&gt;] [-GlobalSettingsDomainController &lt;Fqdn&gt;]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Our case we will type : <strong>Get-CsAdDomain -Domain ropse.com -DomainController ROPSEDC01.ropse.com -GlobalCatalog ROPSEDC01.ropse.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/prajwaldesai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Installation-Of-Lync-Server-2013-Standard-Edition-Part-3-Snap-15.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3215 disappear appear\" src=\"http:\/\/prajwaldesai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Installation-Of-Lync-Server-2013-Standard-Edition-Part-3-Snap-15.jpg\" alt=\"Installation Of Lync Server 2013 Standard Edition Part 3 Snap 15\" width=\"677\" height=\"403\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We will open the file which is created here \u201cC:\\Users\\lyncadmin\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\Get-CsAdDomain-eb0659e0-85e5-482a-9daa-8702844c1796.html\u201d. Open the HTML file and check for the value\u00a0 <strong>LC_DOMAIN_SETTINGS_STATE_READY<\/strong>. If you find this value then the domain preparation has been successful. We will add user account <strong>Lyncadmin<\/strong> and <strong>administrator<\/strong> to <strong>CSAdministrator Group<\/strong>.<br \/>\nClick on start, Click <strong>Administrative tools<\/strong>, Open <strong>Active Directory Users and Computers<\/strong>, Under <strong>Users<\/strong> look for group named <strong>CSAdministrator<\/strong>. Double click the group, select <strong>Member of<\/strong> and add Administrator and LyncAdmin to CSAdministrator group. You are required to set up simple URLs for Meet and Dial-In, and the Admin simple URL is optional. Perform this as domain administrator on Domain controller. Click <strong>Start<\/strong>, click <strong>Administrative Tools<\/strong>, launch <strong>DNS Manager<\/strong>.
